T runk Lamp

Switch off (1) trunk lamp if the
trunk is to remain open for along
period of time. This prevents the
vehicle battery from being
discharged.
The lamp switches on automatical­
ly, when you open the trunk again
the next time.
When you switch off the trunk
lamp, the trunk lid handle will also
retract. To close the trunk lid by its
handle, first switch on (2) the trunk
lamp.

Roll back the floor mat. Lift the
trunk floor (1) and engage strap
(2) in the eyelet on the edge of the
trunk lid.
To remove the spare tire, turn
luggage bowl (3) to the left and
remove.

The first aid kit is stored in the
shelf below the rear window.
Stow ing T hings in the Vehicle
Warning!
To help avoid personal injury
during a collision or sudden
maneuver, exercise care when
stowing things. Put luggage or
cargo in the trunk if possible.
Do not pile luggage or cargo
higher than the seat backs. Do
not place anything on the
shelf below the rear window.
