Driving the Tug

Refer to Figure 9.
The 747C tug is moved forward and/or reverse by pushing or pulling the
Forward/Reverse lever (1). The speed is determined by the amount of pressure applied to the
Forward/Reverse lever (1).
Note: When the Forward/Reverse lever is released, it will return to the neutral position and the tug will
stop.

Steering the Tug

Steering is achieved by turning the Steering Wheel (2). Turning the steering wheel clockwise
will turn the tug to the right. Turning the steering wheel counter-clockwise will turn the tug to the left.
Note: The operator must be standing on the foot pedal. As a safety precaution, when the foot pedal is
released, the tug's brakes will activate and the tug will stop.
