2. Version Check
This verifies the version.
The display of the 7-segment LED display and the lighting of the buttons
indicate the version as shown in the figure below.
A.B:
Indicates the values of the integer portion and the first
decimal place.
0 through 9: The number corresponding to the lighting button indicates
the value of the second decimal place.

When the USB cable is disconnected, execution automatically advances to
the next test item.
3. Measurement of Current Consumption
This measures the current consumption.
All buttons other than buttons without LED (
segments of the 7-segment LED display light up and the INPUT LED
flashes.
1.
Set the STEREO/MONO switch to MONO.
INPUT LED goes dark.
2.
Set the STEREO/MONO switch to STEREO.
The INPUT LED lights up.
3.
Verify that the current consumption is as follows.
220–250 mA
4.
Hold down EXIT and press MEMORY, and then follow the procedure of
Executing or Skipping Test Items (p. 15) to advance to the next test
item.
4. Switch and LED check
This verifies the operation of switches and LEDs.
1.
Working in sequence, press the flashing button to make the button go
dark.
* If the wrong button is pressed, nG is displayed on the 7-segment LED display
and the button flashes. In this case, press the flashing button and continue
testing.

when the XLR LED flashes and press
LED flashes.
When buttons until TUNER & MUTE have been pressed, the LEDs shown
in the figure light up red.

Each segment of the 7-segment LED display lights up in sequence and
when all segments light up, then they go dark in sequence.
Thereafter, this is repeated.
5.
Hold down EXIT and press MEMORY, and then follow the procedure of
Executing or Skipping Test Items (p. 15) to advance to the next test
item.
5. Volume Check
This verifies the operations of volumes.
The INPUT CH1 LED flashes and 0_ appears on the 7-segment LED
display.
1.
Turn slowly the INPUT SENS knob at the leftmost of the rear panel
clockwise; see from rear side.
At the center position, the center segment on the right digit of the 7-
segment LED display lights up.
2.
Furthermore turn it clockwise to maximum.
The INPUT CH1 LED goes dark, the INPUT CH2 LED flashes and 1_
appears on the 7-segment LED display.
3.
In the same way as steps 1 and 2, turn slowly the right INPUT SENS
knob and verify that the lower segment on the right digit of the 7-segment
LED display lights up, and then the center segment lights up.
4.
In the same way, verify the knobs corresponding to the flashing buttons
in sequence.
* Turn EQ TREBLE when BOOST flashes and turn EQ PRESENSE when FX
LOOP flashes.
When all volumes are verified, ok appears on the 7-segment LED
display.
5.
Hold down EXIT and press MEMORY, and then follow the procedure of
Executing or Skipping Test Items (p. 15) to advance to the next test
item.
