    4 Maintenance 4.1 General maintenance notes ATTENTION! The hood housing gets damaged if cleaned incorrectly. Discoloration may occur on the surfaces. Do not use any steam cleaner to clean the hood housing. Aggressive cleaning agents such as vinegar-based cleaners, abrasive cleansers, abrasive granules or pointed items must not be used.

Too frequent cleaning or the use of aggressive cleaning agents may cause damage to the cleaning, only use a detergent suitable for this purpose (e.g. dishwashing detergent). CAUTION! Excessively long periods of use lead to clogging of the metallic grease and dirt particles, resulting in severe impairment of the functionality of the hood.
