  • Page 16 3 Operation 3.1 Hood Operation Manual 3411 Integra Hood Operation Manual Use the hood with the remote control only. Hood cover is opened by pressing key no. 2 for 2 seconds. However, motor cannot be operated in this way. Opening of the hood cover may be stopped by pressing + or - key for 2 seconds.

    4 Maintenance 4.1 General Maintenance Instruc- CAUTION! tions Damaging of the hood body in case of improper cleaning. Discolouration may occur on the surfaces. Steam cleaners shall not be used for cleaning the hood body. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as vinegar based cleaning agents, scrubbing agents, sanding granules etc.
  • Page 19 4 Maintenance - Wipe the drips and stains of acidic liquids (e.g. fruit acids) immediately with a cloth and rub until it is dried. - Hot, heavy and sharp objects shall not passed over the paint surface or shall not be pushed towards it.
  • Page 20 4 Maintenance - Open the cover to the maximum position. Then, press the opened cover a little bit back- wards. Thus, the safety lock shall be unlocked and power supply to the hood is cut off. Both stainless steel oil filter is under the intake area and they may be easily removed.

Cleaning of the metal oil filter Accordingly: - Soften the stainless steel filter with groove in hot water and clean it with a soft brush. Repeat this procedure if required.
  • Page 22 4 Maintenance CAUTION! Use of aggressive cleaning agents or frequent cleaning may damage the grid texture of the metal oil filter. Only suitable cleaning agents (e.g. dishwashing liquid) may be used for cleaning. CAUTION! Power loss may occur if the maintenance interval is not followed.

    4 Maintenance 4.5.2 Washing the carbon filter Active carbon filter pad may be washed 3 times. Its life cycle is 3 to 4 months under normal cooking conditions, and 2 to 3 months in case of frequent cooking, then it shall be washed or replaced with a new filter pad.
