Cleaning and care
Cleaning the baffle filters by hand
 Clean the baffle filters with a soft
nylon brush in a mild solution of hot
water and a little washing up liquid.
Do not use concentrated washing-up
liquid.
Unsuitable cleaning agents
Unsuitable cleaning agents can cause
damage to the surface of the filters if
used regularly.
Do not use:
– cleaning agents containing descaling
agents
– powder cleaners, cream cleaners
– aggressive multi-purpose cleaning
agents or spray cleaners for grease
– oven sprays
Cleaning the grease filters in the
dishwasher
 If possible, place the baffle filters ver-
tically or inclined in the lower basket.
Ensure the spray arm is not obstruc-
ted.
 Use a proprietary household dish-
washer detergent.
 Select a dishwasher programme with
a wash temperature between 50 °C
and 65 °C.

After cleaning
 After cleaning, leave the baffle filters
on an absorbent surface to dry.
 When removing the baffle filters for
cleaning, also clean off any access-
ible oil or fat build-up from the hous-
ing. Doing so will prevent a fire haz-
ard.
Grease tray
The lower support for the baffle filters
serves as a grease tray which collects
dripped grease. It can be removed for
cleaning.
 Pull the grease tray upwards to re-
move it.
 For cleaning purposes, follow the in-
structions provided under "Housing".
The grease tray in the
DAR 1125/1225 and DAR 1135/1235
can be cleaned in the dishwasher..
 Refit the grease tray after cleaning.
