• Phillips screwdriver • U.2 compatible SSD The PEX4SFF8639 is OS independent and doesn’t require any additional drivers or software. Note: To determine if the drive and motherboard that you’re using are compatible, consult the technical specifications that came with the drive and motherboard. -

Connect an SSD to the adapter card Warning! Drives should be handled carefully, especially when you transport them. If you’re not careful with your drives, you may experience lost or corrupted data. Make sure that you’re properly grounded by wearing an anti-static strap when you install any computer component. -

Reconnect the power cable to the back of your computer and reconnect all of the peripheral devices that you disconnected in step 3. Turn on your computer. There may be additional steps required to enable drive functionality, such as installing drivers or updating the firmware for the drive or motherboard. -
