Problem
Scoreboard will not turn ON when control
is turned ON
Control continues to search after an
unusually long time
Data won't change on control
Control display shows incorrect

I cannot control the scoreboard (1
has left area and scoreboard was left ON)
I cannot set the time
Cannot turn the time ON
Scoreboard is displaying data in the wrong

Ball, Strike, and Out keys do not work
How do I add the extra runs into the total
score if a team scores more than 9 runs in
one inning? (models 1503, 1506, 1508,
1003, 1006) (shows runs by inning)
Time will not display on the scoreboard.
(models 1520 and 1020)
Scoreboard is ON – Control is OFF
Only one control of a multi-control
scoreboard system will operate the
scoreboard

set to "(+) ON"
Security is set to "(-) OFF". Note: The
scoreboard assumes the security level of the
control that turns it ON.

Check LED status indicator on receiver
(on solid = power, blinking when key is
pressed on control = has signal I/O)
Battery level low
Control in a poor
location

Solution
Restore power to
receiver
Replace batteries
Make sure the control is in clear line of
sight of the scoreboard
Move closer to scoreboard
Use Options Menu to check the number
of receivers the control is linked to and
the number of receivers on its list.
Find and use the correct control.
Link the control to this scoreboard or
group (see Options Menu)
Power control OFF, then ON
Check all switches, breakers, and fuses
Check all cables and connections
Turn control OFF, then ON to establish
communications
Cycle power to receiver
Stop the time first
Set some time on the clock or change
timer direction to UP count
Reconfigure the control. (See Options
Menu)
Press and hold to reset
Use the Options menu to access the
OVERSCORE screen and log the extra
runs there
To display Time, set the Inning to ten or
above.
Install batteries -- power ON then OFF
Cycle power at scoreboard
Set the Security of ALL controls used in
a multi-control system to "(-) OFF"
(See the Options Menu)
Set Security to "(+) ON". (See Options
Menu)
