SKIM MESSAGE NOT REC'D BY MIC

When Monitored and Set Condition:
SKIM MESSAGE NOT REC'D BY MIC
When Monitored: With the ignition in the Run/Start position, Instrument Cluster in
power-up state.
Set Condition: The Instrument Cluster detects loss of communication with the Sentry
Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM). .
SKIM MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED
TEST
1 Turn the ignition on.
NOTE: Ensure the Instrument Cluster communicates on the PCI Bus.
With the DRBIII , select Body, Electro/Mech Cluster, then read DTCs.
Does the DRBIII display SKIM Message Not Rec'd by MIC?
Yes → Refer to the COMMUNICATION category and perform the ap-
→ Test Complete.
No
