Figure 3-9 on page 3-22 shows an example of expanded storage with dynamic
storage reconfiguration capability, where the system determines logical partition
origins.
In Figure 3-9, the expanded storage addressability above 1023 GB and below
1019 GB is unused and considered a gap. For the purpose of this example,
assume that LP-C was activated with 1 GB of storage and was then deactivated to
arrive at this storage layout. The storage range between between 1019 GB and
1021 GB is assigned to LP-A for as long as the LP is active.
