1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
To prevent injury or property damage, the following instructions must
be followed. Incorrect operation due to the instructions in this manual
not being followed may cause harm or damage.
The safty precautions listed here are divided into two categories. Important
safty information is listed which must be read carefully.
WARNING
Failure to observe a warning may result in serious injury.
CAUTION
Failure to observe a caution may result in injury or damage to the
equipment.
WARNING
Ensure qualified personnel install the system.
Do not undertake any service or maintenance yourself.
Ensure you appoint a qualified person or contact Bosch.
Before servicing this equipment, ensure the electricity power
supply has been safely isolated.
When replacing a fuse, ensure you read the installation manual for
the correct fuse rating and size.
Or contact Bosch for the correct fuse rating.
When the unit is running fans will be operating. Keep hands away
from fan blades to prevent injury.
Never inspect or service the unit by yourself.
Ask a qualified service person to perform this work.
When disposing of the products, consult with local authority for
special disposal.
Keep high frequency equipment away from the unit.
The air conditioning unit should not be in contact with oils, gases,
or salty air.
Failure to do so may cause product failure.
Ensure the equipment is grounded.
To protect against refrigerant leaks, speak to a compe tent person.
When a system is installed in a small room, please install refrigerant
leak detection equipment.
Should refrigerant come in to contact with a naked flame, the gas
can be extremely harmful.

Should a refrigerant leak occur, switch off the power to the air
conditioning unit. Turn off any combustible heating devices,
ventilate the room and contact a competent person.
Do not use air conditioning unit until a qualified personal has been to
correct the fault.
Disposal: When disposing of any air conditioning products,
consult with local authority for special disposal.
Prior to performing any maintenance work, ensure the unit is
switched off and the electrical power supply has been isolated.
Do not remove the fan guard until the unit has been switched off
and the electrical power supply has been safely isolated.
Ensure all of the equipment has been grounded.
Ensure hands are free from contaminants and are dry prior to
performing any electrical maintenance work.
Do not touch the heat exchanger fins.
These fins are sharp and could cause injury. If the fins are damaged,
this will effect the heat exchange performance.
Ensure condense drainage has a fall away from the unit.
Noise can be amplified should the air outlet be blocked on the
outdoor unit.
Do not place any objects on or obstruct any part of the air
conditioning unit.
Refer to instillation instructions for clearances.
Do not use the air conditioning unit where chemicals or gases are
present.
Ensure only an authorised person operate the appliance.
