2. For your Safety

To ensure that you will enjoy your product for years to come, please read these
operating instructions carefully, particularly the safety instructions.
Keep them in a safe place and in the case of a change in ownership, please ensure
they are given to the new owner.

2.1 Normal use

The sauna is to be used exclusively on private property, including a hotel room, in a
residential home or other similar situations and is not to be used for medical purposes.
Use is limited to indoors. It is suitable simply as a relaxing hot air bath.
Any other usage will be deemed as not corresponding with normal usage. DURAVIT AG
assumes no liability for abnormal usage.

2.2 Safety information

Please read and comply with the following safety instructions!
The heater is a fire hazard.
Make sure there are no objects on the protective grill of the heat inlet before you
switch on the heater.
Make sure that the air-supply inlet is unobstructed.
Never operate the heater without sauna stones as this could lead to unacceptably
high temperatures.
Use only stones that are approved for use in a sauna and place these loosely in the
heater. If the stones are packed too tightly, there is a danger of overheating.
The sauna stones inflict burns.
Allow stones to cool down before removing them.
This product is designed to be used only by adults.
Children, elderly or infirm persons or persons with disabilities should only use the
sauna under supervision.
Only take a sauna when in good health.
Consult your doctor before using the sauna if your health is in any way impaired, if
you suffer from acute illnesses or infections, or if you are pregnant.
Do not use the sauna bath while under the influence of alcohol, medication and drugs.

Microbial contamination of water in the vaporiser water tank.
Empty the vaporiser water tank after each sauna bath.
Remove electrical devices.
Do not use aroma lamps or air humidifiers in the sauna.
Cracks due to constant humidity and ambient temperature.
Leave the sauna cabin door open after each sauna bath to allow the humid air to
escape.
Damage to the heater and vaporisation module due to water deposits.
Never use saline water.
Only use distilled water in the vaporiser tank.
Information on the external fronts and interior fixtures and fittings.
Natural wood is a living material. Because it is a natural material, its structure,
grain, porosity and colour will vary.
Over time, the cabin walls in the area of the heater become darker than the rest of
the interior.
Heat and temperature fluctuations can cause the sauna to warp.

The following warning signs warn you of dangerous situations and their severity:
Danger!
High risk, lethal hazards, severe injuries.
WARNING!
Medium risk, severe injuries.
CAUTION!
Low risk, minor injuries.
