ANNUAL MAINTENANCE

Annual
Maintenance
Examine the gas supply lines
for leaks
Verify that the propane gas
pressure is 11 inches of water
column
Verify that the combustion seal is
complete and intact
Verify that the burner and the
burner orifice are clean
Verify that the electrode spark
gap is 1/8 - 3/16 inch
Verfiy that the voltage is within
:
specified range
AC 108 - 132 volts
DC 10.5 - 15.4 volts
Look at the color of gas flame.
Verify that the area at the rear
of the refrigerator is free of any
combustible materials, gasoline,
and other flammable vapors and
liquids.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Diagnostic Pre-checks

Before performing detailed diagnostics inspect for the
:
following
1.
Make sure power switch / thermostat is not in the OFF
position.
2.
Make sure door is closed and sealing correctly.
3.
Make sure that refrigerator is correctly installed and that
the vents are not blocked.
4.
Make sure vehicle fuse or circuit breaker is intact.
5.
Make sure ambient temperature is not unusually high
(more than 110° F. / 43° C.).
6.
Make sure air circulation inside the refrigerator is not
decreased by foods or by shelves covered with plastic,
paper, etc.
7.
Make sure cooling fan is connected at the rear of the
refrigerator.
8.
Make sure freezer is defrosted.
If refrigerator does not operate after completing pre-
checks listed above, follow the procedures outlined in
the "Control Panel Error Codes" section.
If no error codes are found refer to "Troubleshooting
Symptom Chart" section.

Take Action
Replace or repair if needed - refer to "Test for
Gas Leaks" procedures
Adjust if needed
Replace or repair
Clean if needed - refer to "Clean / Replace
Burner and Orifice" procedures
Adjust if needed
Correct if needed
If the flame is yellow, flickering or changing
shape, repair - refer to "Clean / Replace
Burner and Orifice" procedures.
WARNING
!
ATTENTION
DANGER of fire or explosion! Immedi-
ately take corrective action by removing
ALL combustible material that is near rear of
refrigerator!
