When the group mode is on:

• Insert a disc with group settings.
On the recorder

Press GROUP slightly while playing.
" " flashes in the display and the
groups become selectable.

Within 5 seconds, turn the jog dial to
select your desired group, and then
press to enter.
The recorder starts playing from the
first track in the group.

You can also select a group using the ./>
in step 2.
On the remote control

While the recorder is playing, press
and hold PLAYMODE until "– – –"
flashes in the display.

Within 5 seconds, turn the control
repeatedly to select your desired
group.
Notes
• If no operation is performed within 5 seconds
after step 1, group skip mode will be canceled
and you will not be able to perform step 2
thereafter. To continue with step 1 at this
point, repeat from the beginning of the
procedure.
• Group skip mode cannot be used with a disc
that has no group settings.

Changing a play mode

You can select from various play modes,
such as single play (1 Track), shuffle play
(Shuffle), and program play (PGM). You
can also select repeat play in any of play
mode.
Control
On the recorder

While the recorder is playing, press
the jog dial.

Turn the dial until "PLAY MODE"
flashes in the display, and then press
to enter.

Turn the jog dial to select the play
mode, and then press to enter.
