Switching ON / switching OFF

Your SunMover® is very straightforward to use. Simply press button
and your
SunMover® will immediately start to work.
The fi rst thing the system does is to determine the current position of the sun. To
do this, it needs to know its own position. This is obtained via a GPS receiver and an
E
electronic compass, which provide the required data at all times. This means that
the solar panel is able to turn towards the sun as soon as you switch the system on.
If the system is disconnected from the onboard battery then this data is lost. When
it is reconnected to the onboard electric system of the vehicle and switched on
again, the system fi rst needs to run through a short synchronisation cycle (display:
„Clock sync wait") while it gathers all the necessary information. The SunMover®
will not open during this time. Instead, you will see the message
Synchronisation
on the display while the required data are being obtained.
Once the system has been opened it will follow the sun all day long, before being
retracted again automatically and switching off in the evening in accordance with
the selected settings.
The exact behaviour of the system in terms of the evening shut-down routine can
be changed in the „Solar Settings".
To switch the system off, press button
again to retract the SunMover® and
send it into rest mode.
If you would like to stop the movement of the solar panel while it is being opened
or retracted, simply press to instantly stop the panel.
