NAT allows a single device, such as a router, to act as an agent between the Internet
(or
"Public
Network") and a local (or "Private") network. This means that only a single, unique
IP address is required to represent an entire group of computer.
It works like your street address – as a way to find out exactly where you are
delivering information to you.
NAT serves three purposes:
1. Provide security by hiding internal IP address. Acts like firewall
2. Enable a company to access internal IP addresses. Internal IP addresses that are
only available within the company will not conflict with public IP.
3. Allow a company to combine multiple ISDN connections into a single internet
connection.

Network Address Translation:
IPSec Pass Through:
IPSec is a framework for a set of protocols for security at the network
or packet processing layer of network verification.
PPTP Pass Through:
PPTP is a protocol that allows corporations to extend their own
corporate network through private "tunnels" over the public Internet. Enable/Disable this
protocol verification.
L2TP Pass Through:
L2TP is an extension to the Point-to-Point Protocol, which is an
important component for VPNs. VPNs allow users and telecommuters to connect to their
corporate intranets or extranets.
SIP ALG:
SIP is a signaling protocol for Internet conferencing, telephony, presence, events
notification and instant messaging
NetMeeting ALG:
If NetMeeting is under the bad connection while you are using SKPYE or
MSN ...etc, you can enable this function to force the better connection.
Enable/Disable the NAT.
