7-2 Firmware update by using user menu

This section describes how to update the latest version of firmware for camera body.

CAUTION
■ Make sure the battery is fully charged. Or use the AC adaptor.
■ Since all the files stored in the internal memory will be deleted, ensure that important files are copied to other storage device.
1. Copy the latest firmware file such as nx300.bin into the root directory of the SD Card. Insert the SD Card into the camera.
nx300.bin
2. Power on the camera.
3. Press Menu -> Go to Settings -> Select Device Information -> Select Firmware Update.
4. Select the Body Firmware.
