    This system is intended for use with cold water only. DO NOT INSTALL ON HOT WATER. o Only use Rainfresh filter cartridges with this unit. No other filter cartridge will function with this system. o Do not lubricate head O-rings with petroleum based lubricants. Only food-grade silicone (Dow 111 compound) should be sparingly used.

    Set both cartridges aside in a safe place until final assembly. The following instructions are for installing the UCS3 system under the sink. It can also be installed on any other wall mounted remote location (such as basement or crawl space) from where tubing can be run to the faucet. The unit should not be installed more than fifteen feet away from the faucet.

Install mounting bracket and head assembly over screw heads and tighten screws. NOTE: If wall is too thin to accept screws then use round head nuts and bolts (not supplied) to mount bracket.

    Step 5 : Start up  Remove wrapping from carbon cartridge (CF2) and carefully place it HEAD LUG into the sump (on the side of the inlet fitting – see page 8) with blue SUMP gasket facing up. Align the sump under the filter head and pull the GROOVE cartridge up with one hand and push blue gasket over boss of white head (see fig 9).

    Cleaning 1M Ceramic Cartridge This cartridge is cleanable and reusable. The flow rate will gradually slow during use as contaminants build up on the ceramic surface. The flow is restored by scrubbing the surface of the cartridge as required using the abrasive cleaning pad (811-0) enclosed.

    Ceramic cartridge is Replace cartridge immediately. Broken or cracked cartridges are not under warranty cracked or broken If the water from the UCS3 system tests positive for bacteria: Bad water test Inspect ceramic cartridge for cracks or breakage. Replace if necessary.

    Company's obligation under this warranty shall consist of repair, replacement or credit, at its option, of any part found by the Company inspection to be defective, provided that the product has not been misused, abused, altered or damaged as determined by the Company and provided that only approved Enivrogard/Rainfresh replacement cartridges have been used in the housings.

    Étape 5 : Commencez LUG DE LA TÊTE  Retirez la cartouche au charbon (CF2) de son emballage et insérez-la soigneusement dans le carter (sur le côté du raccord d’entrée – voir RAINURE DE page 8) avec le joint bleu dirigé vers le haut. Alignez le carter sous la tête CARTER de filtre et tirez la cartouche vers le haut avec une main puis poussez le joint bleu au-dessus de la tête blanche (voir fig.

    Nettoyage de la cartouche en céramique 1M Cette cartouche est nettoyable et réutilisable. Lors de l’utilisation et à mesure que les produits chimiques s’accumulent sur la surface en céramique, le débit baissera progressivement. En nettoyant la surface de la cartouche à l’aide du tampon de nettoyage abrasif (811-0) fourni, vous pourrez retrouver un débit normal.

    Remplacez la cartouche immédiatement. Les cartouches brisées ou fissurées ne sont pas couvertes fissurée ou brisée par la garantie. Si de l’au du système UCS3 se révèle positif pour les bactéries : Détection de la mauvaise qualité Inspectez la cartouche en céramique pour détecter des fissures ou des bris. Remplacez si nécessaire.
