4-2 Setting the Electronic
Shutter
This section describes the shutter modes that can be used with the
electronic shutter of the camcorder, and describes the procedure for
selecting the shutter speed and mode.

4-2-1 Shutter Modes

The shutter modes that can be used with the electronic shutter and the
shutter speeds that can be selected are listed below.

Standard DNW-7/90/90WS/9WS: 1/

DNW-7P/90P/90WSP/

Selectable shutter modes and speeds

Application
For shooting fast-moving subjects
with little blurring.
For shooting subjects such as
monitor screens with vertical
scanning frequencies of over 60
Hz (DNW-7/90/90WS/9WS) or
over 50 Hz
(DNW-7P/90P/90WSP/9WSP), to
obtain images with no horizontal
bands of noise.
