OPERATION
5
Important: The vacuum is equipped with an automatic suction shut-off that operates when picking
up liquids. As the level of the liquid rises in the tank, an internal float rises until it seats itself against
a seal at the intake of the motor, shutting off suction. When this happens, the motor will develop
a higher than normal pitch noise and the suction is drastically reduced. If this occurs, turn unit off
immediately. Failure to turn unit off after float rises and shuts off suction will result in extensive damage
to the motor. To continue use, empty the liquid waste from the tank as outlined in this user guide.
Important: Ensure the air flow control button is closed when using in wet mode.
Important: Ensure the dust bag and the filter cover is removed when using the machine
for picking up spills.
Important: Empty the dust bin of any liquids after use and leave it to dry before storage.
Storage
Hose, tubes and floor head can be stored in an assembled condition to the cleaner.
The combination allows neat and tidy storage.
Coil the hose around the tube to make it compact and stable. Rest the tube on the tube
rest located at the back of the base.
Warning: Always switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical socket before
assembling, opening or emptying the bin, or before connecting/disconnecting the attachments.
Important: Filters need to be cleaned every time you empty the dirt container for best cleaning
results. Do not use your vacuum cleaner without filters in place. If the filter is damaged, it must
be replaced.
Important: The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the unit should overheat,
the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off.
