The Safetwatch Pro 3000 is designed to be as maintenance free as possible, however we suggest that you
still test your system once a month and after any alarm occurrences.
Treat the system as you would any other electrical equipment; do not slam protected doors or windows,
keep dust from accumulating on the touchpad and sensors, and do not spray water or any liquid on the
units.
*Your system may or may not be set up for fire protection.

Based on the provided context, there are instructions for mounting a circuit board in the ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 system but no direct steps for removing the entire unit from the wall. However, generally, to remove the ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 from the wall to add a board behind it, follow these steps:

1. Power Down the System – Disconnect the system from power and remove the backup battery to avoid electrical hazards.
2. Remove the Keypad or Cover – If applicable, detach the keypad or outer cover by loosening screws or using a release clip.
3. Unscrew the Mounting Screws – Locate and remove any screws securing the unit to the wall.
4. Gently Pull the Unit Away – Carefully pull the system from the wall, ensuring no wires are damaged.
5. Access the Mounting Area – Once removed, you can insert the board behind it as needed.

If securing a new circuit board inside the cabinet, follow the instructions to insert the top of the board into the slots and secure it using the mounting clips and screws.

I found no method in the manual to permanently display the date and time. Is there a procedure to do this?

You cannot permanently display the date and time on the ADT Safewatch Pro 3000. The system allows viewing the current date and time temporarily by pressing a programmed function key (A, B, C, or D), and the display remains on for about 30 seconds.
