    NOTE: We recommend changing the water filter every 60 days or after 60 uses, and more often if you have hard water. Replacement filters can be purchased in stores, or by calling Cuisinart UK After Sales Service or at www.cuisinart.co.uk Flushing out the Machine n We recommend flushing out the system before brewing your first cup of coffee.

    Brewing Coffee Using Beans n Open the lid by pressing the indentation marked ‘PUSH’ . Add water by filling your chosen cup with water and pouring this water into the reservoir. This ensures that you have exactly the right amount of water to make your cup of coffee. N.B All of the water that you put into the reservoir will be used to produce your cup of coffee.
  • Page 11 use all of the beans you add to the machine each time you make a cup of coffee. Be sure not to over-fill the grinder. Six scoops is the maximum. n Replace the grinder cover and close the lid. n Pull out the coffee filter basket compartment by gripping each side of the compartment with one hand whilst holding the machine in place with the other.
  • Page 12 n Place your chosen cup on the selected drip tray. n Press the Grind & Brew button. A blue indicator around the button will light up and the beans will begin to grind. After this, your coffee will start brewing and will drip slowly into your chosen mug.

    Brewing Coffee using Pre-Ground Beans n Open the lid by pressing the indentation marked ‘PUSH’ . Add water by filling your chosen cup with water and pouring this water into the reservoir.     Cleaning and Maintenance n We recommend cleaning your coffee maker each time you use it. Be sure the unit is OFF and unplugged before cleaning. n Open the lid and remove the grinder assembly (both the cover and the grind compartment). n Slide out the filter basket holder and remove filter basket cover, gold tone filter and filter basket.
