Buttons

Control button
For location of the control button, see Product overview on page 4 .
The control button is used for:
• Resetting the product to factory default settings. See page 14.
• Connecting to an AXIS Video Hosting System service. See . To connect, press and hold the button for about 3 seconds
until the Status LED flashes green.

Connectors

Network connector
RJ45 Ethernet connector with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+).
I/O connector
Use the I/O connector with external devices in combination with, for example, motion detection, event triggering, and alarm
notifications. In addition to the 0 V DC reference point and power (DC output), the I/O connector provides the interface to:
Indication
Steady green for normal operation.
Steady during startup. Flashes when restoring settings.
Indication
Steady for connection to a 100 Mbit/s network. Flashes for network activity.
Steady for connection to a 10 Mbit/s network. Flashes for network activity.
No network connection.
Indication
Normal operation.
Flashes green/amber during firmware upgrade.
