    1 Safety precautions Correct use • The appliance is only suitable for washing household dishes and cutlery with water and standard dishwasher detergent. The appliance is for use in the home and for the intended purpose only. No liability is assumed for any damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

    1 Safety precautions Note on use Switching off the power to the appliance disables the built-in over- flow protection system. Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline. They can be extreme- ly dangerous if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and keep children away from the dishwasher when the door is open.

    3 Programme overview Additional functions Function Symbol Reduces the wash temperature during cleaning by 5 °C, providing Energy saving energy savings of about 10 % and gentle washing for glassware. With partial load, the programme is adjusted to the smaller load. The Partial load amount of water is reduced significantly, saving between 1 and 6 l of water.

    3 Programme overview Fondue/Raclette programme Uses • Removes cheese which tends to stubbornly stick to fondue and raclette pans and dishes. • Removes food burned on to gratin dishes. • Can be used to clean all other dishes. Tips for best results Fondue pans made of enamelled metal or stoneware can be cleaned in the appliance.
  • Page 18 3 Programme overview Load raclette dishes in the upper ➤ basket as shown in the diagram. In addition to the detergent, add about 1 tablespoon of detergent to the pre-rinsing compartment. You will improve the cleaning results in the case of heavily burned-on food residue. Use an aluminium heat distribution plate between the burner and the fondue pan to protect the fondue pan and prevent heavily burned-on soiling.

    4 User settings «All in 1» detergent The «All in 1» setting adapts the programme for use with detergent with integrated salt and rinse agent function in an optimal way. • products can only be used up to a certain water hardness.     4 User settings Water hardness The built-in water softener removes limescale from the water, enabling problem-free cleaning. Automatic regeneration occurs at regular intervals, thus guaranteeing its effectiveness. Your appliance is equipped with an automatic limescale sensor. Configuring the level of water hardness is therefore not necessary.

Cooking trays can be placed between the prongs. Easy prongs give optimal stability. In order to fold the racks down, the locking grip 2 at the side must be pulled up.

    Care and maintenance Cleaning the interior Using the correct dosage of detergent will automatically clean the interior of the appliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance twice a year with dishwasher cleaner. Follow the directions for use for dishwasher cleaner carefully. Most dishwasher cleaners work more effectively at higher temperatures.
