    The simplest way to setup the Local Area Network (LAN) is to enable the DHCP Server functionality of Pepwave MAX. With this setting, Pepwave MAX will automatically provide a suitable IP Address (and related information) to each computer connected to its LAN interface.

    The Site-to-Site VPN of the Pepwave MAX is specifically designed for multi-WAN environment. The Pepwave MAX can aggregate all WAN connections’ bandwidth for routing Site-to-Site VPN traffic. Unless all the WAN connections of one site are down, the Pepwave MAX can still maintain VPN up and running.

    14 Port Forwarding When operating under NAT mode, Pepwave MAX acts as a firewall that blocks, by default, all inbound access from the Internet. By the Port Forwarding, Internet users can access the servers behind Pepwave MAX. Important Note Port Forwarding applies only to WAN connections that are operating under NAT mode.
