To increase power on a Kollmorgen 60WKS-M240/12 servo amplifier, ensure it is supplied by a suitable power supply unit. Use the 56WK-P240/80-B power supply unit, which can deliver up to 90 A with forced ventilation. This PSU is designed to supply multiple servo amplifiers without a ballast circuit (models with index -0 or -P0).

Make sure the cooling (forced ventilation) is active to allow higher current. Also, confirm the system’s simultaneity factor is less than 1 if multiple axes are used, to avoid overloading the PSU.

Do not exceed rated limits of the amplifier or PSU, and verify safe setup values (e.g., AC-GAIN, IPEAK) before operation.
