Air Flow

This function allows you to select the desired air fl ow direction.
Press the Air Flow button to change the air fl ow direction.

For the models that have no function of selecting air fl ow direction.

Press the Air Flow button to move the air fl ow up and down. To keep the air fl ow
direction, press the Air Flow button again when the air fl ow blade reaches the desired
position.
For the 360 cassette model, each time you press the Air Flow button, the air fl ow

direction is changed as follows:
Display Type Spot
Wired remote
controller display
Indication on
the display
※ For some wired remote controllers, the icons for air fl ow directions are not
displayed.
If you press the button to switch the air fl ow direction to Spot, Mid, or Wide when

a 360 cassette indoor unit is installed together with other types of indoor units, the
blades of other types of indoor units will be fi xed without movement. Thus, the air
fl ow direction will not change.
• Even though you change the operation mode or turn on or off the remote
controller, the selected air fl ow is not aff ected.
• For the duct type indoor units, when the Air Flow button is pressed, the air
fl ow direction is not changed but the
Mid Wide Swing
lamp will appear.
