Note1: Preview Master is available only when Two-Way communication is enabled.
Note2: Available FreeForm Masters are denoted by their number and name, i.e.
"Sample FreeForm Master" whereas blank slots show only the number.
Note3: If a pre-existing FreeForm Master is chosen, a warning dialog box will pop-up.
But if user chooses to continue, the pre-existing FreeForm Master will be overwritten
with the new one.
Note4: Only the first page of the FreeForm master will be displayed when user
requests a preview.
6-3. EFI Job Monitor
The EFI Job Monitor is a utility designed to give the user up-to-date status on print
jobs sent to an EFI driven device. The Job Monitor tracks the status of each print job
sent by the user and alerts the user to any error reported by the Fiery that would
prevent printing of the job.
The EFI Job Monitor can monitor an unlimited number of Fierys servers (that support
the Job Monitor) . Only one Job Monitor will pop up to monitor the user's print jobs
regardless if multiple jobs were sent to multiple servers for printing.
Job Monitor can track jobs which is downloaded by Fiery Downloader.
Note1: The EFI Job Monitor cannot track print jobs sent via IPP, Point and Print,
Email Port Monitor or any future port monitor of similar type where the job is sent to
an intermediate server.
Note2: The EFI Job Monitor can only track print jobs sent to the hold and print
queues.
Note3: Job Monitor can be Enabled from "Launch Job Monitor" button in Printer
Status tab.
<Active Job Tab>
The Active Jobs tab is the default tab of the Jobs Monitor. The Active Jobs tab
displays dynamically the status of the user's print jobs as it is spooled, processed
and printed by the server. Error message window is also appeared when something
error occurs.
