Follow the following steps to assemble the faceplate:
1. feed the cables up though the aperture in the faceplate.
2. Terminate the cables to each module as required. The VGA module has an integrated
cable management clamp. After you've terminated the cable you should attach the
clamp with a screwdriver. This will remove stress on the join.
3. Clip each module into the surround.
To eject modules from the surround the m3 screws on each side of the surround must be
removed. The surround can then be removed and each module ejected from the rear.
The Techconnect Tilt is ready for use. Touch the "UP/DoWN" button on the top surface
to power the faceplate into the DoWN position. The motor has a safety switch which
prevents the faceplate from closing if fingers or cables present the motor with resistance.
Likewise, if anything heavy is sitting on the faceplate, the motor will sense the weight and
will not open the faceplate, HoWEVER this should not be relied on to prevent spillages.

TRoUBLESHooTING

If your system is not operating properly, please refer to the following information. If the
problem persists, disconnect from power and contact your AV reseller immediately.
Problem
motor stops half way up or down. There is probably some obstruction either behind
faceplate does not close fully.
Abnormal noise from motor
Correction
the modules or in front. Check that the cables are
not too tight in a way that restricts the movement
of the moving part.
To re-calibrate the motor you may need to turn
power to the product off and on again.
Check for obstructions preventing the moving parts
from traveling freely.
