● Input mode (11) - Opens a pop-up view, in which you can select available input
methods. When you tap an item, the current input method view closes and the
selected one opens.

Handwriting recognition

You can use the stylus as a pen to write text. Write legible, upright characters on the
text input area, and leave a small horizontal gap between each character. Do not use
cursive writing.
To write common characters and numbers (default mode),
write words as you normally write them.
To write special characters, write them as you normally write
them. You can also tap *# in the right pane of the input area,
and select a desired character from the pop-up table.
To teach the device your handwriting style, tap
screen keyboard, and select
To use handwriting gestures on the handwriting recognition area, do the following:
Draw gesture 1 for a backspace or gesture 2 for a space.

On-screen keypad

You can use the on-screen keypad to enter characters like you would with a traditional
phone keypad.
● Close key (1) - Closes the on-screen keypad view.
● Input menu key (2) - Opens touch input options menu,
which includes commands such as

on or off, change the character case and change between
letter and number mode by tapping the desired option.

● Arrow keys (5) - Moves the cursor left or right.
● Backspace key (6) - Deletes the character to the left of the
cursor.
● Number keys (7) - Enters desired numbers or characters
according to current case and input mode.
