To make a call from Contacts, select
tap the search field to enter the first letters of the name, and scroll to the name. To call
the contact, press the call key. If you have saved several numbers for a contact, select
the desired number from the list, and press the call key.
4. Write text
You can enter letters, numbers, and special characters in several different ways. The
virtual keyboards allow you to tap characters with the stylus or your fingers.
Handwriting recognition allows you to write characters directly onto the screen using
the stylus as a pen.
To enter letters, numbers, and special characters, tap any text input field.
Your device can complete words based on the built-in dictionary for the selected text
input language. The device also learns new words from your input.

On-screen keyboard

To use the on-screen keyboard, tap on the keys of the keyboard with the stylus or with
your fingers when using the full-screen keyboard.
● Close key (1) - Closes the on-screen keyboard view.
● Input menu key (2) - Opens touch input options menu,
which includes commands such as
● On-screen keyboard (3)
● Shift key and caps lock (4) - Allows you to enter an
uppercase character in the on-screen keyboard mode
when you write in lowercase. When you tap this key in the
handwriting recognition mode, the last lowercase character switches to uppercase,
and vice versa. You can toggle caps lock on by tapping the key twice and the key will
have a line under it.
● Numbers and symbols key (5) - Toggles between numbers, most commonly used
special characters and the alphabet characters in the on-screen keyboard area.
● Character accents key (6) - Opens a pop-up view, in which you can select language
character accents.
● Space bar (7) - Inserts a space.
● Enter key (8) - Moves the cursor to the next row or text input field. Additional functions
are based on the current context (for example, in the web address field of the web
browser, it acts as a go button).
● Move key (9) - Moves the touch input window. Drag the key to move the touch input
window around the screen.
● Backspace key (10) - Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.
