Auto Renewal Recording does not work
properly.
• The programme will not be overwritten in the
following cases:
– the recorded programme is protected
– any programme is being played back or copied
– a screen such as Video Menu is displayed
Instead, the programme will be saved as a
separate programme and that will be
overwritten.
The time recorded on the disc and the
available time shown do not add up.
• Available disc space display may be different
from actual.
To make the available recording space.
• Delete unnecessary programmes. (
Use auto renewal recording for weekly or
change the automatic deletion settings. (

Play
Cannot play back.
• The disc is dirty. (
• The disc is scratched or marked.
• The disc may not be able to play back if it was
not finalised or a Top Menu was not created on
the equipment used for recording.
• Refer to "Screen icons". (
• Depending on the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, it may
not be possible to perform playback unless this
unit is connected to the Internet.
You have forgotten your rating PIN.
• Perform "Shipping Condition". (
Cannot play the disc on other players.
• Refer to "Play on other players". (

Broadcast
Picture regularly breaks up on some channels.
• Adjust the reception with "Manual Tuning".

The channel which was once selectable
cannot be selected.
• Reveal the channel on the channel list. (
Picture very infrequently breaks up on some
or all channels.
• Electrical atmospheric interference caused by
bad weather may cause pictures to break up
and audio to mute or distort momentarily.
To select free channel.
• Select Free TV using channel list with blue
button. (

TV Guide
The TV Guide information is not displayed
properly.
• Set the clock correctly. (
• There was a programme change, or TV Guide
information from a broadcast station was
possibly not correctly transmitted.
• If signal quality is bad, the TV Guide system
may not be able to receive any data.
• It may take time until the TV Guide screen is
displayed correctly. Wait for about a day.
Network
When using Wireless LAN connection, video is
not played back or video frames are dropped.
• On the "Wireless Settings" screen (
continuous lighting of at least four "Reception"
indicators is the target for a stable connection. If
three or fewer indicators are lit or the connection
is being interrupted, change the position or
angle of your wireless router. If there is no
improvement, connect to a wired network and
perform the "Easy Network Setting" (
again.
• Simultaneous use with a microwave, cordless
telephone etc. at 2.4 GHz may result in
connection interruptions or other problems.
