Installing the Hard Disk Drive
1. Turn the main body power off completely and remove the AC power adapter.
2. Pull the HDD Cover out while pressing the catch down.
3. Assemble the hard disk drive and the HDD Cover and fasten the screw.
Make sure that the hard disk drive is installed the right way round.
4. Slide the hard disk drive in and close the HDD Cover.
Insert the disk drive smoothly. If you press it in with excessive force, it can get caught.
5. If you have difficulty inserting the hard disk drive, try pressing lightly on the bottom of the rear
side of the product.
※ Note.
- If it cannot be comected in properly, do not insert it forcibly. Try sliding it into the main body
again.
- Be sure to check the direction of the hard disk drive before inserting it.
- Do not touch the hard disk drive with wet hands, and beware of static electricity when
handling it.
- Run the anti-virus program and checkdisk, and defragment the hard disk drive as you would
for a computer.
- It is recommended to use a hard disk drive designed for vehicles when you are using it in a
vehicle.
- Take care not to lose the screw fastening the hard disk drive, or let it fall into the product.
- Be sure to format the hard disk drive in FAT32.
