Affix the earth plate

shown in the diagram and mount the
antenna
earth plate

CAUTION: When affixing the earth
plate
make sure to carefully

wipe off any dirt, moisture or oil
from the surface of the location
where it is to be affixed.

Using a cutter knife, cut off the weath-
er strip.
CAUTION: Be careful not to dam-
age the antenna cord.
3.
Wrap the tape
around the antenna

cord, and run the wire between the
windshield and instrument panel. (For
the cut of tape
, see page 20).

4.
Wire the antenna cord to the computer
along with wire harness

shown in the left figure.
CAUTION: Tape the tip of the screw-
driver to protect, and insert the
antenna cord with the screwdriver.
CAUTION: To insert the antenna
cord between the wind shield and
instrument panel, use minus screw-
driver mentioned above.
