Komfort Ultra (EC) L (S) 250 (300) - H(E) PURPOSE Due to the ability to save heating energy by means of energy recovery the unit is an important element of energy-efficient premises. The unit is a component part and is not designed for independent operation. The unit is designed to ensure continuous mechanical air exchange in houses, offices, hotels, cafes, conference halls and other utility and public spaces as well as to recover the heat energy contained in the air extracted from the premises to warm up the filtered stream of supply air. -

TECHNICAL DATA The unit is designed for indoor application with the ambient temperature ranging from +1 C up to +40 C and relative humidity up to 80 %. The unit is rated as a Class I electrical appliance. Hazardous parts access and water ingress protection rating: IP 44 for the unit motors IP 22 for the assembled unit connected to the air ducts The unit design is constantly being improved, so some models can slightly differ from those ones described in this manual. -

Komfort Ultra (EC) L (S) 250 (300) - H(E) DESIGN AND OPERATING LOGIC The unit has the following operating logic: Warm stale extract air from the room flows to the unit, where it is filtered, then air flows through the heat exchanger and is exhausted outside by the extract fan. -

MOUNTING AND SET-UP READ THE USER’S MANUAL PRIOR TO MOUNTING THE UNIT. THE UNIT MUST BE MOUNTED BY A QUALIFIED EXPERT ONLY, PROPERLY TRAINED AND HAVING THE REQUIRED TOOLS AND MATERIALS. While mounting the unit provide enough access for maintenance or repair work. Attach the wall mounting brackets to a wall or to a ceiling. While mounting the bracket consider the wall material and the unit weight. Attention! - Page 9 HV2 HUMIDITY SENSOR MOUNTING (ONLY FOR AIR HANDLING UNITS WITH S14 AUTOMATION SYSTEM) The HV2 humidity sensor is not included in the delivery and can be ordered separately. Install the humidity sensor into the mount on the extract air duct panel and connect the humidity sensor contact socket to the respective contact socket on the control unit, refer to the External wiring diagram.

- Page 11 S14 SENSOR CONTROL PANEL MOUNTING MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROL PANEL IS NOT DAMAGED. DO NOT USE A DAMAGED CONTROL PANEL! DO NOT INSTALL THE CONTROL PANEL ON AN UNEVEN SURFACE! WHILE TIGHTENING THE SCREWS, DO NOT APPLY EXCESSIVE FORCE TO PREVENT THE CONTROL PANEL CASING DEFORMATION.

Mount the speed controller front part: • Install the speed controller front panel. • Fix the front panel with a washer and a nut. • Install the control knob. • The speed controller mounting is completed. Komfort Ultra (EC) L (S) 250 (300) - H(E) CONNECTION TO POWER MAINS DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM POWER MAINS PRIOR TO ANY OPERATIONS. THE FAN MUST BE CONNECTED TO POWER MAINS BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. THE RATED ELECTRICAL PARAMETERS OF THE UNIT ARE GIVEN ON THE MANUFACTURER’S LABEL. DO NOT LAY THE CABLE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE CONTROL PANEL CABLE!
