6. In the Name text box, modify the default name for the volume as you like.
Tip:
We recommend using the word "volume" in the name so as to not confuse the volume
name with your device name.
7. Click the Next button. The Confirm Format page opens.
8. Click the Format button. A message opens, informing you that it can take up to five minutes to
format your drives, and that this may require rebooting the Drobo device. Afterwards, the Format
dialog box opens.
9. Click the OK button. the Drobo device displays on the Tools page in Drobo Dashboard.
