1. SAFETY:
ATTENTION! When you use electrical machines,
you should always observe basic safety precau-
tions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shocks and
personal injuries.
- Do not leave the machine out in the rain.
- Do not use the machine in damp or wet places.
- Keep the work area well lit.
- Do not use the machine near flammable liquids or gas.
- Make sure the voltage and the frequency written on the
rating nameplate match those of the mains.
- Unplug the machine from the mains when it is not in use,
before you start any maintenance jobs and when you
replace any accessories (i.e. insert).
- Before you actually use the machine, make sure it is able
to work appropriately and efficiently.
- Check the alignment and adherence of moving parts, make
sure nothing is broken, check the overall assembly and any
other conditions that may affect operation.
- Any parts damaged shall be repaired or replaced by
a skilled technician, unless specified otherwise in this
manual.
- Have faulty switches replaced by a skilled technician.
- Keep anyone that is not involved in the job well away from
the work area, especially children. Do not let them touch
the machine or the extension lead.
- Wear safety goggles and gloves.
- Do not wear baggy clothing or jewelry, which could get
caught up in moving parts.
- Wear protective headwear and tie long hair back.
- Wear non-slip shoes when working outdoors.
- Always stand appropriately and balanced on both feet.
- Always keep your eyes on the job, without distraction. Use
your common sense and do not use the machine if you
are tired.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy. Untidy work areas and
benches could cause accidents.
- Do not force the machine to work at a higher speed than
that envisaged.
- When using the machine outdoors, use extension leads
approved for such use and marked accordingly.
- Never pull on the power cable to unplug the machine from
the mains. Keep the cable away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
- The use of accessories (i.e. insert) different to those recom-
mended by the manufacturer could cause injuries.
- Do not tamper with the safety devices.
- Look after the machine with care.
- Follow the instructions when replacing accessories.
- Every now and again, visually check the machine cable
and have it repaired by a specialist if you should notice

any damages.
- Every now and again, visually check the extension leads
and replace them if damaged.
- Keep the operating handles dry, clean and free from oil
and grease.
- When the machine is not used, keep it in a dry and safe place
away from children's reach.
- This electrical machine complies with applicable safety
provisions. Repairs shall be carried out exclusively by
a skilled technician, using exclusively OEM spare parts,
otherwise whoever uses the machine could be in serious
danger.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

The manufacturer is not liable for damages in the following
cases:
- failed observance of the instructions given herein;
- use of the machine other than that described in the
"INTENDED USE" section;
- failure to use the machine in compliance with current
standards on Health & Safety at the workplace;
- Incorrect installation;
- lack of scheduled maintenance;
- modifications or jobs that are not authorized by the manu-
facturer;
- use of non-original or inadequate spare parts;
- repairs that are not carried out by a specialist.

3. WARRANTY

The warranty validity is that acknowledged in the country
of sale. Claims under warranty will only be accepted if they
are backed-up by the copy of the purchase document (bill
or receipt).
The guarantee becomes void if:
a) the machine has been tampered with;
b) the machine has not been used following the instructions
given in this manual;
c) non-original parts, equipment or tools and/or anything that
is not authorised by the manufacturer have been fitted on
the machine;
d) the machine has been powered at a voltage or frequency
different to that written on the rating nameplate.
4. USE AND CARE OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL
The characteristics and the information given in this manual
are merely indicative. The manufacturer reserves the right
to make any modifications considered necessary to the
electric rivet spinner at any time.
It is forbidden to reproduce any part of this document without
the manufacturer's authorisation.
The owner's manual is integral part of the machine and
must be kept in a safe place so that it can be consulted
whenever need be. If you should lose your manual or
it should deteriorate, you can request your dealer or an
authorized service centre for another copy.
The manual shall accompany the machine at all times,
especially if it is sold on at a later date.
5. DEFINITIONS
Skilled technician: a person who is generally employed by the
service centre and who is trained to carry out extraordinary
maintenance jobs and repairs on the machine.
