Configuring the Phone
Setting the date and time
To use the Date & Time menu:
• From the User Settings menu, press Date & Time.
The Date & Time menu appears.
To set the time format:
1. From the Date & Time menu, press Date & Time Format.
2. Touch the slider to select a 12-hour clock (12am/pm) or 24-hour clock.
3. Select the desired date format (DD/MM/YY, MM/DD/YY, YY/MM/DD).
To set the Time Zone:
1. From the Date & Time menu, press Time Zone.
2. Select your time zone from the list.
3. Press
Save
To enable daylight time saving:
1. From the Date & Time menu, press Daylight Time Saving.
2. Touch the slider to enable or disable automatic daylight time saving
adjustments.
To enable or disable the NTP (Network Time Protocol) server:
1. From the Date & Time menu, press Network Time.
2. Under Network Time Enable, touch the slider to enable or disable your
phone retrieving its time and date settings from the network.
3. If necessary, under Network Time Server Address, edit the NTP server URL.
4. Press
Save
NOTE
If the NTP server is disabled, you must manually set the time and date.
