HOW TO TRANSPORT THE MACHINE

Towing T24 Model (on-Road use)
Towing the T24 model is like towing any other "heavy" trailer. It is important the frame
rails are as level as possible when hooked to the truck. DO not travel faster than 55
mph (45mph with ember screen attached). The T24 comes equipped with electric
brakes, be sure your truck has a "brake controller" or contact the factory for infor-
mation. The trailer tongue
weight is the same on both units
be sure your hitch assembly is
rated for this towing weight
10200 lbs. (4627kg) and tongue
weight 1200 lbs. (544kg). Al-
ways maintain correct tire pres-
sure to prevent premature wear
and blow outs.
Towing T22 Model (off-Road use only)
The T22 model BurnBoss is unique in that it does not have axles that cross the width
of the machine. This allows for the FireBox to be raised and lowered and to prevent
the fire heat from damaging the wheel and tire assemblies. In addition the T22 has no
suspension as the wheel assemblies are mounted to the frame rails. For this reason
the T22 BurnBoss is designed for Off-Road use. The machine weighs approximately
10200 lbs. (4627kg) and has a towing tongue weight of 1200 lbs. (544kg) Be sure
your truck is rated for these weights. Because there is no suspension on the T22, it is
important that the trailer frame rail is perfectly parallel to the ground when the machine
is connected to the tow vehicle and all the weight is on the tires and on the hitch.
DANGER:
The BurnBoss lower trailer frame rail MUST be level to the
ground when connected to the tow vehicle or significant accident and injury
may occur.
If the front of the frame rail is high then your tongue weight will be significantly higher
as your are actually lifting the first set of tires off the ground. This could cause you to
exceed your trail hitch capacity leading to failure, and it will make it more difficult to
tow.
If the front the frame rail is low then your tongue weight is significantly reduced as the
weight will be on the front set of tires. This will cause premature tire failure and will
make the machine difficult to tow.
