Save this manual for further reference. l Unpack the equipment carefully and save the original box and packing material for possible future shipment l Follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons. l Do not dismantle the housing or modify the module. It may result in electrical shock or burn. l Using supplies or parts not meeting the products’ specifications may cause damage, deterioration or malfunction. l Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. l To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain, moisture or install this product near water. l Do not put any heavy items on the extension cable in case of extrusion. l Do not remove the housing of the device as opening or removing housing may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. l Install the device in a place with fine ventilation to avoid damage caused by overheat. l Keep the module away from liquids. l Spillage into the housing may result in fire, electrical shock, or equipment damage. - Page 4 TL-FO-HD User Manual Introduction TL-FO-HD is a mini optical fiber extender for 4K resolution. It contains a SOURCE module and a DISPLAY module. Compatible with multi-mode and single-mode fiber, it extends HDMI signals up to 400m/300m via single-mode cable/ multi-mode cable. With its HDMI1.4& HDCP compliance design, the TL-FO-HD supports high definition (up to 4096x2160@30Hz, 1080p 3D) signal. Insert the SOURCE module into the HDMI port of a HDMI source device (e.g. a PC). Step2. Connect the OUT port of the SOURCE module to the IN port of DISPLAY module with an optical fiber cable. Step3. Insert the DISPLAY into the HDMI port of a HDMI display device (e.g. a monitor). Step4. Plug DC 5V power adapters to the USB ports of both the SOURCE and the DISPLAY module.
