MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE & PROCEDURES
The following schedule should be followed for normal care of your tractor and mower.
SAFETY ITEMS
Check Safety Interlock System
Check Tractor Brakes
Check Mower Blade Stopping Time
NORMAL CARE ITEMS
Check Tractor/Mower for loose hardware
Check Coolant Level
(Liquid cooled models)*
Change Coolant
(Liquid cooled models)*
Check & Clean Radiator Screen
Clean Engine Oil Cooler*
Check Engine Air Filter*
Check Engine Oil Level*
Change Engine Oil & Filter*, **
Lubricate Tractor & Mower
Check Tire Pressure
Check Transmission Fluid
Change Transmission Fluid & Filter
Check/Replace Fuel Filter
Clean Battery & Cables
Clean & Sharpen Mower Blades
Inspect Spark Plug(s)*
* See the engine manufacturer's owner's manual.
** Change original engine oil after first 5 hours of operation.
*** More often in hot (over 85° F: 30° C) weather or dusty operating conditions.
**** Drain the fuel filter every spring and fall or when the dashboard display light turns on.
Replace the fuel filter element every 800 hours or as required.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURES
Tire Pressure should be checked periodically, and main-
tained at the levels shown in the chart. Note that these
pressures may differ slightly from the "Max Inflation"
stamped on the side-wall of the tires. The pressures
shown provide proper traction, improve cut quality, and
extend tire life.
