    User Manual Overview 1.3. ECHANICAL TRUCTURE 1.3.1. Enclosure The E-1710/1720 is housed in a ruggedized industrial enclosure, 1 U by 19” (Rack Mount). Featuring heat dissipation capabilities, the E-1710/1720 may be installed without the necessity for spacing between units. This allows increased flexibility for installation of a large number of encoders into limited-space environments.
