General Description: The single and dual channel Temperature Signal Converter D5072S-099 and D5072D-099 accepts a low level dc signal from millivolt, thermocouple or resistance/ RTD or transmitting potentiometer sensor, located in Hazardous Area, and converts, with isolation, the signal to drive a Safe Area load, suitable for applications requiring SIL 2 level (according to IEC 61508:2010 ed.2) in safety related systems for high risk industries.
2 channels Front Panel and Features SIL 2 according to IEC61508:2010 ed.2 for Tproof=3/10yrs (≤10% / >10 % of total SIF) with analog current output. Input from Zone 0 (Zone 20) / Division 1, installation in Zone 2 / Division 2.
