This manual consists of three chapters and an appendix.
• Chapter 1 gives an overview of ThinWire Ethernet, defines networks, and
describes DECnet, ULTRIX networks, and VAXclusters.
• Chapter 2 describes the basic components you will need, some simple
configurations, and the rules for connecting to ThinWire Ethernet.
• Chapter 3 describes how to determine your needs and how to install and
troubleshoot a ThinWire Ethernet network.
• The appendixlists associated documents that might be helpfulin planning
your network.
