System Power
When the Polycom PRS 2000 appliance is turned off by using the power
switch, power may still be supplied to the motherboard. To ensure that the
appliance is completely shut down, unplug its power cord from its power
source.
The Polycom PRS 2000 appliance ships with all required components installed.
There is no need to open the chassis to add or remove components. Please
contact Polycom regarding any malfunction or failure of the Polycom PRS
2000 appliance.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open chassis; do not defeat
or remove the ground pin of the power cord; connect only to a properly grounded ac
power outlet. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and ESD Protection
Static electricity can damage disk drives, boards, and other components.
Before connecting or disconnecting any device to the Polycom PRS 2000
appliance, we recommend you discharge static electricity by first touching a
metal part of a grounded PC.
