    INSTALLATION SELECTING A LOCATION: C-Aire compressors are to be installed and operated in a clean, dry, well-lighted, and well-ventilated area, not less than 12 inches from walls or other equipment. Provide at least 1,000 cubic feet of fresh air per 5 hp.

    MOUNTING THE COMPRESSOR CAUTION: Remove the compressor from the shipping skid before mounting. ANTI-VIBRATION INSTALLATION ANTI-VIBRATION INSTALLATION Be sure your C-Aire compressor is mounted on a level, concrete floor, 1/2” LOCKNUT preferably using anti-vibration pads. (FINGER TIGHT ONL Y) 1/2” FLAT WASHER When installing anchor bolts from your installation kit, all anchor bolts should be finger tight only.

    LUBRICATION ALL C-AIRE COMPRESSORS COME FACTORY FILLED WITH SYNTHETIC OIL WHICH REQUIRES NO BREAK-IN PERIOD. Oil Level: Check the oil level before each start-up. The oil level must be maintained to the center of the sight glass (unless there is an oil-level mark on the sight glass to indicate otherwise).

    Change the oil. Your compressor has been shipped with C-Aire ISO 46 Compressor Oil. C-Aire recommends using C-Aire Synthetic ISO 46 and changing the oil annually or C-Aire ISO 68 and changing the oil semi-annually. See the “Performing an Oil Change” section in this manual.

    C-Aire offers two styles of pressure switches on its dry pipe sprinkler compressors. The standard pressure switch is on at 70psi and off at 100psi and is not to be adjusted. The adjustable pressure switch, denoted by an U at the end of the model number, can be adjusted per the instructions below.

    WARRANTY C-Aire Inc. warrants its compressors to be free from defects in material and workmanship subject to the following provisions: STANDARD WARRANTY DURATION: 12 months from date of purchase. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS DURING THE WARRANTY DURATION: All components on the compressor except for those items listed in the section titled “What is excluded from warranty coverage”.

INSPECT FOR DAMAGE Carefully inspect the unit for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If damage has occurred, it should be noted on the freight carrier’s bill of lading.
