Manual search: Press MENU and select MANUAL TUNE. Use

to adjust the frequency, press
to tune in.
Information display: While listening to a DAB station, the DLS text (additional text information, emitted
from the broadcaster) will be shown on the display. To display further information (if available), press INFO
repeatedly to cycle through DLS - DL PLUS (if broadcasted) - signal strength - programm type - ensemble
name - channel frequency - error rate - bit rate - codec - time and date.
Press and hold INFO to return to NOW PLAYING display.
DRC setting: This function reduces the difference between the loudest and quietest sounds broadcasted,
which can be useful especially in noisy surroundings.
Press MENU and enter the DRC sub menu. Select from the options HIGH, LOW, OFF.
FM Radio
The first time you select FM radio, the unit is set to 87.50MHz. Press AMS for an automatic station scan. The
first station found will be tuned in. Use
/
to adjust the frequency (press and hold for scanning the
band in the respective direction).
Presets: Resembles the procedure described for DAB (see p. 25). There are 40 presets available for FM
stations.
Information display: Press INFO repeatedly to show additionally broadcasted info texts on the display.
Press and hold INFO to return to NOW PLAYING display.
Settings: Enter MENU to access the setting options SCAN SETTINGS and AUDIO SETTINGS. In the scan
settings sub menu, select STRONG STATION to limit the sensitivity of the station scan, so only stations with
a high signal strength are tuned in. In the audio settings submenu, choose between STEREO ALLOWED and
FORCED MONO. Select the latter, if the surroundings might impede good reception (e.g. in the basement,
in garages, in valleys) - stations will henceforth be received in mono only, reducing interferring noise.
CD-Player / USB
Select the CD or USB mode with
. Insert a CD into the CD drive slot with the printed side facing up.
Push carefully when you notice the Sie den action point. The CD drive draws the CD in automatically. Press
to eject. Insert USB drives into the USB socket on the rear.

to operate the playback. Press REPEAT to cycle through the
repeat play modes (repeat current track - repeat current folder (CDs or USB drives organized folder struc-
tures) - repeat all - repeat mode off). Press RANDOM for playback with a randomized track sequence.
