Channel Function
The Hurricane™ 1800 FLEX can work with a DMX controller when linked
by DMX serial connections. You can use DIP switches 1–9 to set the DMX
address. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product for DMX
operation are in the User Manual. If you are not familiar with DMX or DIP
switches, download the DMX Primer from www.chauvetlighting.com.
To ensure full access to all channels in the DMX mode, the highest
recommended DMX address is 512.
1 Fog Output
FCQ (Fog Cleaner Quart) was specifically developed by Chauvet to
clean your Hurricane™ 1800 FLEX. Make sure you use FCQ regularly,
no longer than 90 days between cleanings, to increase the life of your
product.
