The alarm message remains displayed for the entire duration of the alarm. To verify the event that caused the alarm, you can press and hold the corresponding numeric key (from 1 to 8) to show the event details.

    Alarm Control Panel User Manual Arming and Disarming Arming When you arm the system, the detectors that are connected to it are activated. If any alarm event occurs, the detectors give an alarm. The functions provided by the key combinations for Robbery, Panic, Medical, and Fire are always active even though the system is disarmed (if enabled by the TECHNICIAN).

The Areas that are not armed continues to show a dash. You can add other Areas to the arming at any time. See Figure 3-1.
