    Important safety instruction Avoid scratching or striking the cooktop. Doing so may lead to glass breakage. Do not cook on a cooktop with broken glass. Shock, fire, or cuts may occur. • For your safety, do not use high-pressure water cleaners or steam jet cleaners to clean any part of the cooktop.

    Before you start Residual heat indicator When an individual cooking zone or the cooktop is turned off, the presence of residual heat is shown with an indicator on the corresponding cooking zone screen (see the table below). Even after the cooking zone has been switched off, the residual heat indicator will turn off only after the cooking zone has cooled down.
